Package price is per month with a strongly recommended two month commitment. The price includes an individual introduction to the barbell lifts, two very small-group (max 4 persons, usually with one other person) training sessions per week with Coach Eric, and access to the gym equipment to complete a third workout for the week. Through this program, we pursue general and "functional" strength under the eye of Coach Eric, gaining technical competency with the four big barbell lifts (squat, bench, overhead press, and deadlift) with some emphasis in helpful adjuvant movements for jiujitsu participants (barbell rows and pullups).
This course forms a technical and trust-building pre-requisite for the technical mastery of the basic barbell lifts. It also brings the capacity of members to use the gym equipment in a technically sound manner and sign up for the Equipment Access option.
It is important to note that one major goal of this course is to set the participant free from the need for anything but, say, form spotchecks. That is, I want to set clients free to have a good enough feel for the lifts so that eventually they will not need a coach each time they lift.
